What do we do in the summertime?

Summer is both dragging and flying by at the same time! We have 36 days to go until school starts again... but who's counting? 

So what do we do in the summertime? Well some families go on fun trips, but we mostly prefer to stay home.  So this is what we do:

We plasma car. It seems like we might need a third one. And by need, I mean want, because no one ever really needs a plasma car. 
 We hang out with friends in the tree fort and eat popsicles or other snacks we find lying around.... wow I wish that last part wasn't true.
 More friend time.
 We wear hats, maybe that's just Grace, but she loves hats.
 We pee off the tree fort... oh wait that is just Zach. Gosh, I hope all  the neighbors saw him do it.
 We watch movies and snuggle.
 We constantly steal Mom's cup. It's basically the community cup, how they aren't all sick if beyond me.
 We check out the christmas stuff, because let's be honest the best decorations come out in July.
 We swim... a lot. And we take swim lessons.
 We snuggle some more.
 Zach shows everyone his belly. To be honest if I had his six pack I might be tempted to show it off too.
 We got to the grocery store and sometimes we get lollipops.
 Did I mention that we swim?
 We got to HEB, and both boys have been instant winners lately... they earned the awesome prize of a... ruler... seriously who comes up with these?
 We fight over boxes and then love decorating them.
 We take crazy photos.
 Have lots of Trolls dance parties.
 Go to the park
 Read books.
 Have sleepovers
 Read more books... this Pumpkinville book is seriously the worst kids book I've read in awhile.

 Go to Chick Fil-A way too often.
 and make perler bead masterpieces

Merry Christmas!

We are planning on having a very exciting Christmas at our house this year. We are super excited to announce (to all three people that read this that have already been told) that we are expecting another baby! Yay, the due date is December 22nd, so it is possible that we will actually have a very exciting Christmas, though in all honesty I am hoping for something more around the 16th than 25th.  We had an ultrasound today, and a few things. First off, I think this kid is going to give his/her older brother a run for his money. The ultrasound tech told us this was the most active baby she had ever seen, my response was pretty much, well you should have seen Michael 2 years ago. The baby is healthy, but... crazy. She had such a hard time taking measurements with all the flipping, flailing, and somersaulting. Pretty sure this kid is going to have to be so crazy to keep up with Mikey, but pretty sure that 2 years from now I am going to be exhausted. Even though it is a little b...

Baby Zach is Here!

Baby Zach is here! Zachary Henry December 16, 2013 8:41am 6lbs 14oz 20.5 inches Sweet guy, he seems so tiny compared to Michael, and so so tiny compared to how big Michael is now. I think he looks a little bit like Michael, especially his mouth. He has less hair and his eyelashes are lighter, but he is still adorable. I know he has the newborn grey eyes for now, but they look lighter than the pictures of Michael at the same age. I am curious to see what he ends up looking like in a few weeks! The three boys. I can't believe we have two boys! We have to have one token labor picture. And as there is only one this is the one that gets posted. More on the labor later, but let's just say I wasn't loving life at this moment, waiting for the doctor to arrive was the longest half hour of my life, but we made it so yay!  So these are out of order, but this is Zach right after he was born. Genius Idea

So I have this idea, I think it is brilliant, and I am really hoping someone reads this and 1. tells me someone has already done it and where I can access it, or 2. someone steals my idea and does it close enough to me that again I can access it. Ok so here is the idea, first let me describe the situation. You are a parent with small children and it is a cold/hot/rainy/snowy/windy day/, someone is contagious/your kid fell asleep in the car/your kids are having a meltdown and taking them out of the car and struggling with the 5 point harness might kill both of you and you need milk from the grocery store. Normally you would try and get it at a better time, send a spouse, live without, etc, but you can't because you need milk (or bread or eggs, pick an essential item), so you have an internal debate... am I going to risk it, am I going to pull them out of the car, run in, find the item, wait in line, and come back and struggle to get everyone back in or are we going to live without...
