4 weeks!
Miss Grace is 4 weeks old, or she will be at 3:30pm tomorrow, but let's round up. It seems like she has been with us a lot longer than 4 weeks. Her brothers still adore her, they like to hug her, pet her head (yes like you would do to a cat), and try and get her to grab their fingers. Anytime she is on the floor one of them is right there with her. Michael held her in church today, mostly I think he was bored, but it was cute. Anytime she cries, which is fairly infrequently, they freak out and say "MOM GRACE NEEDS YOU!" Zach really likes to steal her pacifier and likes to make sure she has her PupPup. They like to pretend that she is a panther cub and they are the wild kraits taking care of her, it's pretty hilarious and adorable at the same time.
Grace has such an easy going personality (so far). She loves to be held, would prefer that happen all day, but she's willing to sleep in her bouncer, lie on the floor, or just go with the flow. She likes the carrier (thank heavens), and is content to stay in it for 2-2.5 hours even at the pool (if it's shaded). She HATES her carseat, which honestly is kinda perfect because I hate it too so we don't tote that monstrosity around too often. She's starting to look for us when we talk to her, and she really wants to talk when other people are talking. I think she's going to be a chatty one- and really why expect anything less of one of our kiddos. She's a great sleeper, sure she wakes up to eat but she usually goes back to sleep and doesn't scream. She is a LOUD sleeper. When she isn't sleeping deeply she makes stretching sounds... over and over... extremely loud stretching sounds. So she fits right in. She hates getting her diaper changed but we are getting better with baths. She loves her pacifier... yes it is wonderful. We think she weighs about 10 pounds now... so she's getting chubby! Adorable! Overall she is just such a sweet natured baby and we are thrilled she is here and healthy!
Zach loves her, maybe a little bit too roughly at times...
Ok seriously, initial thoughts about this picture- it's Brian with a bow! no really it is.
She's getting chubby!
love the sleeping baby
Zach thinks she almost always needs a bow
sleepy spit up baby.
so sweet. She won't let us swaddle her arms, she likes them up near her face when she sleeps, well basically all the time.

she usually sleeps in her own tiny bed, but makes her way into our bed around 6am. She remains there after everyone else leaves, it's funny that such a small person likes such a big bed.
