Oliver at 2 months
Ollie is 2 months old! Ok he's actually a little bit more than 2 months old, but because of the holidays his 2 month appointment was pushed back.
Oliver Andrew
Weight: 13.3lbs (50th percentile)
Height: 25 inches (98th percentile)
Head Circumference 16.1" (90th percentile)
I thought for sure Oliver was going to be the heaviest of the kids, nope, not even a little! He was only bigger than Mikey, Grace retains her status as the biggest one at 2 months.
Oliver has smiling down! He's starting to laugh and coo. He loves it when we talk to him like a big person.
He loves to be with his older siblings, FOMO is real. He basically just wants to be one of the other kids. He thinks it is great fun when they all get in his face and are super loud.
He still won't nap alone, not quite sure how to fix this, but he does great alone in his bed at night. He's the first kid that really likes to sleep in total darkness. The other kids didn't care, but he is very particular.
He is doing much better with food since we switched to the special formula and prefers his food to be cold rather than warm.
His favorite activites are napping in the pack or with someone, going on walks, staring at fans, snuggling with Grammy, and licking his hands. He spends a lot of time trying to free his hands.
His eyes are blue, not even bluish brown, just blue! Dark blue, but blue!
His hair hasn't fallen out, and the blonde tips remain. He would have been so cool in the 90's when the boys bleached the tips of their hair.
Oliver hates to be hot. Wearing both socks and pants is too big of an ask, he will do one or the other, preferably neither.
He's gotten the hang of the pacifier and loves it, but he also loves his hands.
Ollie's favorite place to be, the pack.
The one time he slept in his carseat. It was the day I had to take my Epi final, he slept for one hour after seeing Grammy... and it never happened again.
I didn't realize it until later in the day but I was wearing a shirt that said permanently tired and he was wearing one that said sometimes I let them sleep.
Loving life with undivided attention.
Loves the pack, always in it even when I'm studying and working. I now have a standing desk because he will not let me sit to work.
He went with us to get our covid boosters, in the pack of course.
He loves hanging out with the big kids and they love making him dance.
Someone wasn't holding him so he made the saddest face until he was picked up.
Happy in the pack. He really does want to spend all his time in the pack.
The legs are getting chubby!
He slept through presents on Christmas morning. It was adorable and shocking because he wasn't being held.
He loves napping with people, and he loves Grammy, this might have been the best day of his life.
Totally asleep Christmas morning and no one is holding him.
