2 Months (ok really 2.5 months)

Gracie is 2 months old, ok she was two months old a few weeks ago but today was her 2 month well baby visit. Michael's well baby visits were to the day, Zach's were to the week... and Grace had her's the same day as her brother. Ok we are little bit off but she has been immunized.

So what are Miss Grace's stats? Well let's just say she is the biggest one... by a lot.
Weight: 15lbs, 8oz (we've left the chart)
Height: 24 inches (87th percentile)
Head Circumference: 41cm (50th percentile)

So she's bigger than Zach  and a lot bigger than Michael. She is wearing 6 month clothes and I see those not fitting for much longer. I dont know what Grace is eating or how much of it she's getting but she's huge!

So a few things about sweet Grace. 
-Grace is just so sweet. She's patient, and smiley, and just delightful

-She sleeps. Sometimes at night she's fussy until she falls asleep for the night but then she's golden. She usually sleeps from about 10:30-3 and then again until about 745. Its amazing. 

-Really she is so smiley, and it's adorable. 

-She loves her brothers, why I am not sure, but she does love them. 

-She's so mellow, she is content to sit in the baby carrier for about 2 hours in the hot sun while the boys swim, play at the park etc. Thank goodness she loves that carrier! She does not love the carseat which honestly works out well for me since she's a giant!

-She's started to "chat" she really likes it when we look at her and talk to her. I see her being just as loud, if not louder than the boys. 

-She is a wonderful last child. I keep finding myself so happy to finally have a girl (not that I wouldn't have loved another boy, but having Grace is just a little bit different). I can't wait to see how her personality continues to develop, I'm sure we will have bad days and she will do insane things but right now she is awesome.

Merry Christmas!

We are planning on having a very exciting Christmas at our house this year. We are super excited to announce (to all three people that read this that have already been told) that we are expecting another baby! Yay, the due date is December 22nd, so it is possible that we will actually have a very exciting Christmas, though in all honesty I am hoping for something more around the 16th than 25th.  We had an ultrasound today, and a few things. First off, I think this kid is going to give his/her older brother a run for his money. The ultrasound tech told us this was the most active baby she had ever seen, my response was pretty much, well you should have seen Michael 2 years ago. The baby is healthy, but... crazy. She had such a hard time taking measurements with all the flipping, flailing, and somersaulting. Baby Zach is Here!

Baby Zach is here! Zachary Henry December 16, 2013 8:41am 6lbs 14oz 20.5 inches Sweet guy, he seems so tiny compared to Michael, and so so tiny compared to how big Michael is now. I think he looks a little bit like Michael, especially his mouth. He has less hair and his eyelashes are lighter, but he is still adorable. I know he has the newborn grey eyes for now, but they look lighter than the pictures of Michael at the same age. I am curious to see what he ends up looking like in a few weeks! The three boys. I can't believe we have two boys! We have to have one token labor picture. And as there is only one this is the one that gets posted. More on the labor later, but let's just say I wasn't loving life at this moment, waiting for the doctor to arrive was the longest half hour of my life, but we made it so yay!  So these are out of order, but this is Zach right after he was born. Genius Idea

So I have this idea, I think it is brilliant, and I am really hoping someone reads this and 1. tells me someone has already done it and where I can access it, or 2. someone steals my idea and does it close enough to me that again I can access it. Ok so here is the idea, first let me describe the situation. You are a parent with small children and it is a cold/hot/rainy/snowy/windy day/, someone is contagious/your kid fell asleep in the car/your kids are having a meltdown and taking them out of the car and struggling with the 5 point harness might kill both of you and you need milk from the grocery store. Normally you would try and get it at a better time, send a spouse, live without, etc, but you can't because you need milk (or bread or eggs, pick an essential item), so you have an internal debate... am I going to risk it, am I going to pull them out of the car, run in, find the item, wait in line, and come back and struggle to get everyone back in or are we going to live without...
