Dear Baby # 3

Dear Baby #3,
As we don't know you're gender you don't get a name yet, sorry. Dont worry there are some good ones in the works. So let's have a chat. These have been some pretty miserable 3 months, no really quite awful. When I was pregnant with Zach the OB jokingly told me that terrible pregnancies lead to easy kids- well she was right about Zach. His was a terrible pregnancy (though a cake walk next to this one) and he was an angel baby- slept, ate well, cried when he needed something. So let's chat, I will try and stop complaining about feeling like death warmed over and you will be at least as awesome as Zach. You will sleep, not scream, learn to deal with the insanity here quickly and just be an awesome baby... deal? No deal? Well you have 24 weeks to think about it, but think how nice it would be if you came out knowing day and night (and caring), if you loved naps, took a pacifier, and were just content with life... and then consider staying that way... forever... I love Michael dearly but there can only be one Michael in a family and sadly for you he came first. No high mantience screaming from birth, boycotting sleep (again a since birth thing), refusing the pacifier, insisting on being held 24/7, none of that. My sweet third child, your day for neediness will come in... 13-15 years when your brothers move out. When you're 16 you can whine, cry, and slam doors, but not at the beginning.
