Zach is 1 Month Old!
Sweet little Zach is a month old today. Before I forget I need to record a few things about him.
-Zach is such a sweet baby. Michael was a curious baby, Zach is just sweet. He want to be cuddled and held, but for the most part he is ok waiting his turn, and sadly for him he has to wait his turn often.
-He prefers to sleep with someone rather than on his own. I think his pack n play might be uncomfortable too and that contributes to it (I would rather have a memory foam mattress over a piece of cardboard).
-he does not like to be swaddled tightly
-he does not like to be chilly. diaper changes are getting better, but all in all he would prefer to have a dirty bum over having his clothes taken off.
-he loves his carseat. this is wonderful, especially since we had to drive to austin last weekend. He will sleep in the baby carrier, michael never would.
-he cries when he needs something, and usually just makes happy sounds. (thank goodness).
-he makes the funniest stretching sounds and the funniest faces while he does it.
-he has great old man hair. his hair is getting thick, but unfortunately in the places he had hair to start with so his receding hairline is even more pronounced. and with his wrinkled forehead he is just a sweet old man baby.
-he is getting chubby... really really chubby. i think he has gain close to 3.5lbs in the first month alone.
-he loves to sleep, well maybe he likes to sleep the amount a child his age should, i have no experience with this as mikey hates to sleep and always has.
-he likes the car, the stroller, and outside if he is bundled tightly
-he has a favorite song (Hey Pretty Girl) he will stop crying when we play it, i used to like this song, now i kinda hate it because we have played it so much, but whatever works. for mikey is was go on by george strait (zach doenst like that one).
-he has started to respond to voices... and sometimes the response isn't good, i think some voices scare him (mikey).
-i still don't know who he looks like, but he doesn't look at all like michael did so we will see.
over all zach is such a sweet guy. Heavenly Father knew i couldn't handle another michael right now, and zach is perfect, such a wonderful addition to our family!
