He's Three!!!!
That's right, Mr. Michael Suker is three. I'm pretty sure all kids are excited for their birthday, but to say that Michael was thrilled, counting down the minutes, or beside himself waiting for July to roll around would be a bit of an understatement. He was pretty specific about what he wanted for his birthday, right down to the food. He requested chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting and ice cream for his treat and pizza for dinner (shocking), strawberry muffins and apple juice for breakfast, and chicken nuggets for lunch.
He learned how to do "three" just in time for his birthdayI prepped the cupcakes the night before. Yummy!
Brian got some balloons from work and we set out his "breakfast presents". This is a tradition in our house (well a tradition with me and since I'm the one home in the morning it works). Breakfast presents are little pre birthday presents that you get to open during your birthday breakfast.
Then Michael wanted to take some photos.
Mad face.
Scared face
then he wanted some of him and Zach, but neither of them would sit still...
then we did a yelling face, except I was the only one that yelled.
and then a cross face.
Then we went downstairs. Mikey was thrilled with the free balloons. He looked at them and said, "mommy these balloons say pulte". they did, he was right.
Then we moved on to the breakfast presents. He got some lightening mcqueen flip flops. I saw them randomly at walmart and tried to hide them from him but he saw the cashier put them in the bag. we argued about them for awhile the day before, and when he finally got them he said "mommy you're tricky!". not tricky enough i guess.
he had to put them on right away.
and test them out by running.
then we opened the rest of the breakfast presents- he got some fat and thin markers (he loves markers), a dollar store doctor kit, a race car, and a work hat for zach (because mikey already has one).
we colored for a bit and then daddy came home to do the real presents. He has been asking for Jake and the Neverland Pirates stuff so that's what he got.
he was excited despite the picture.
playing with bucky and friends.
then we went for a swim in the tiny pool. zach had fun too.
mikey said they were "relaxing"
and took a "nap". no one slept.
we had pizza for dinner and cupcakes for dessert.
mikeyw as excited.
he liked us singing to him.
he liked the frosting off his cupcake and gave the cake part back.
Happy birthday to our sweet and crazy Mikey!
