13 months!

It's time for a Gracie update. Grace is 1 and she is BUSY! 

Within the last month her mobility has taken off. She is always trying to climb up stairs and stools. She loves to escape to the bathroom, shut all the doors, and empty all the cupboards at her level. 

She's also learned to SCREAM when she doesn't get her way- I'm not sure why this surprised me in the slightest. She has also learned to scream for the heck of it... you know what's not awesome about this? The times she chooses to do this, like at church or in a library. 

She's discovered her bows and pigtails. This isn't a big deal unless we get in the car. Then she rips them out immediately and chucks the stuff everywhere. Since the hair ties are black and so are the floor mats this can be a challenge. She has CRAZY hair when she takes them out. Her hair is definitely curly. 

She does not like splash pads. This is tragic because these are a safe place for her to be, but she hates them. She spends the entire time trying to crawl away- to the point that she will do it until her knees are all cut up. She does like to float in a boat in the pool under the shade. 

She loves to read. She will look for books throughout the house and then we will find her tucked in a corner looking at the book. 

She still LOVES music and dancing. Her dancing is getting even better. I really need to get a video of her. 

She's getting less patient with her brothers. She hates to be left out, but she doesn't always want to be crazy and wrestle. 

She's started to fight sleep at night... this is not great. 

Seriously so much personality in such a tiny body. 

 She loves water bottles. She kidnaps water bottles, screams when someone has one and she doesn't, and can open them herself.

 New favorite activity, emptying the cupboards while I cook... this is not great. I remember when Michael used to do this with the dishwasher, so maybe things could be worse.

 She loves to read. Oh and she loves her pacifier.

 She discovered the sink... she much preferred this to the splash pad. I love everything about this picture. Her messed up bed/humidity hair, her wet shirt, the twin bandaids, the cup in her hand, so many great things.

 Trying to love the splashed... she just couldn't do it.

 She loves her blanket. Every time she is sad, Zach runs to find it for her. She is definitely a tummy sleeper, and she loves books, even if that means she sleeps on them.

 She does not enjoy baths, and she really does not enjoy when I throw her brother in there with her. Gotta love her cute bedhead.

She does love to cuddle... and wear blue stripes. 

 She LOVES brian. She can't get enough of him. She will scream until he picks her up. She's definitely a Daddy's girl... seriously a third traitor child.
