Eat your food!

All children probably refuse to eat their meals, but since I don't live with all children I can't verify that. My kids dont like to eat what they're served (most days). We had a couple of wins this week- bean and cheese crunchy tacos and scrambled eggs, but some days seem like they're going to be delicious and a win and end up not being. What is even more frustrating is when these dinners have previously been a win but are now... not.

Boat Snack (Chicken Drumsticks), corn, and baked potato night. The first night they couldn't get enough, when it was served a week later it pretty much went uneaten. Zach is the one that nicknamed the chicken "boat snacks", he may have seen Moana too many times. And this dinner was awesome.
Greek meatballs, lemon feta rice, hummus, greek salad, and  cucumber yogurt sauce. This dinner was delicious. Grace loved the rice, salad, and tortillas, Michael liked everything but the salad, and Zach ate the olives out of his salad. Oh and this dinner was awesome.
Tortilini Salad with grilled chicken, feta, cucumbers, tomatoes, and olives. Grace liked everything except the chicken, Michael liked everything except the vegetables, and Zach liked the lettuce and spinach... this dinner was delicious just fyi

These pictures tell me a few things:
1. No wonder we spend so much on food. These meals have fresh meat and veggies and are always accompanied by several fruit options. Turns out eating this way isn't cheap.

2. I use paper plates way too frequently.

3. I like the dinners, but they are entirely wasted on people that are satisfied with scrambled eggs for dinner.
