Zach's First Few Days
Zach is going to be 8 weeks old tomorrow. I can't believe it, this has been an extremely long 8 weeks. But this little guy, really the best baby out there. He sleeps, he is usually happy, cries only when he has a problem, a perfect 2nd child. I really really hope he stays that way.
Looking at these pictures makes me chuckle because now he seriously looks like he ate baby zach. If you have ever seen the show friends, he looks a bit like fat zach and thin zach (you know like fat monica).
We had some family time Zach's first week. We love having family here, but it was so nice to have a few days for just our little family. It was great to have Michael spend some time with his brother before my parents and siblings arrived. I think it helped with the transition, don't get me wrong there were still bumps but i think it helped.
So in no particular order, here are a few shots of Zach's first few days, and boy do i need to take more photos of this kid!
Look how sweet and tiny he was. Newborn clothes were a bit too big when we first brought him home, they aren't anymore!
Zachy loves to be held, and cuddled, and to be cozy.
First smiles. Now he has started to smile for real and it is even more adorable, but this was pretty cute too.
Dad and his boys. Michael has some interest in his brother, every once in awhile he will come over and cuddle him. I can't wait to see them play together.
Emmy met zach. Emmy is an awesome aunt. Gonna be honest, I am a little glad she doesn't have her own kids yet so she can spoil these too.
We took Zachy on a bike ride. Mikey loves bike rides (if you haven't seen this kid on his balance bike you need to, maybe i should post a video, he is fast, so fast that an adult has to jog to keep up with him). Anyway we took the boys, it was the first of many adventures to the park, and when we realized that a sit and stand stroller was a must (well not a must but a really want) because while our 2 year is fast, he wants to be carried on the walk home, and he is heavy so that isn't fun. But so far the sit n stand stroller is... awesome... love it.
Look at how small he was... so tiny zach!
Sweet mikey and his poppy pillow. He has decided there are some things a big brother can't share and poppy pillow is one of them...
Zach loves to sleep with someone. This makes church 1000 times easier than with mikey.
Zach was there for christmas. He had really sharp nails from birth, and scratched his sad face up. Poor kid.
Angry zach. I don't know why i have so many photos of him angry because he is such a happy guy but whatever.
Brothers!
See he is starting to fill out here, just a bit but a little bit chubbier than the day he was born.
Boys napping together.
He looks so worried. Since he has gained a bit of weight his worry lines have lessened a bit but don't worry, they are still pretty noticeable.
Sweet boys.
See look at those pacifier skills.
Mikey loves zach's "park". I don't know why he loves it because when it was his he was only mildly interested in it, but now he is a fan.
